All Who Wander has just landed on iOS and Android, bringing back the classic roguelike experience to your fingertips. Developed by solo developer Michael Weil, this indie is a throwback to the roots of the genre, where strategy, experimentation, and a bit of luck determine how far you’ll get. It’s just a loop of survival, discovery, and inevitable failure before trying again.
In All Who Wander, you’ll start by choosing from 10 different character classes, ranging from straightforward warriors to more unusual builds like illusionists or voodoo rangers. Every class plays differently, but there are no restrictions. Any character can learn any of the 100+ abilities or equip any item, giving you the freedom to experiment with combinations across 10 skill trees.
The world itself is just as important as your build. All Who Wander uses a 3D, hex-based map that shifts every time you play, with six biomes and six dungeons to explore. You’ll trek through snowy tundras, deserts, swamps, and caves, each filled with hazards and surprises.

Some features help you, like tall grass that can hide you or be set ablaze, while others, like shifting sands or curses, force you to adapt on the fly. Every run feels different, and with permadeath always hanging over you, every choice matters. And with the project still in active development, you can still expect new content to gradually release.

Combat is turn-based and firmly rooted in traditional roguelike design. With over 70 monsters and six bosses to overcome, you’ll need to learn from each mistake to push deeper into the 30 levels. If you’re looking for a slightly less punishing experience, Adventure Mode offers a way to play without losing everything on death.
