Airframe: Nemesis will serve up revenge as an intense, strategic dogfight on iOS and Android

505 Games has revealed the revenge-filled, free to play dogfighting game Airframe: Nemesis for iOS and Android. It's coming out later this year.

It's set in the year 2050 after you've been betrayed and left for dead. As a pilot, the way you seek revenge is to grab a fighter jet and square off in dogfights.

It's a Metal-supported game (so it looks quite swish) for people who like flying around really fast and firing missiles at planes until they explode. But it focuses specifically on a more tactical 1v1-type stand-off in the air.

Part of this is defeating other pilots to gain territory, as well as to earn currency, loot, buffs, and experience to advance your fighter jet with.

It offers over 20 planes with customisable skins. And more than 75 weapons to unlock and strap on to your jet.

The single player mode has hundreds of missions to beat so it should keep you busy. But there will also be multiplayer battles and weekly events to take part in.

One of those events is called Dogfight Challenge. It's to be a weekly multiplayer war with online leaderboard rankings.

More features are planned to be added after the game's initial launch.
