Adam Wolfe is a hidden object puzzle adventure which originally launched on Steam in which you play as the eponymous supernatural investigator who has to solve a bunch of cases in San Francisco.

With an intriguing plot, hand drawn visuals, and action and puzzles to boot, Adam Wolfe is an enticing offer for those who enjoy the genre.

We'll have the full PG review with you shortly, but in the meantime you can read all about what our community in the App Army thought below.

I love the graphics - it's such a pretty game. You really feel like your Adam Wolfe, discovering what's happened as you go along. The puzzles are great - the entire experience just feels so well suited to iOS.

Adam Wolfe makes an intriguing proposition. A supernatural plot, hidden object puzzles, and a fun time reversal mechanic.

Initially, it doesn't offer much of a challenge though, so if you're into these types of games for the challenge I'd recommend you look elsewhere. Those looking for a supernatural detective vibe will really enjoy it though.

Adam Wolfe is a classic example of a hidden object adventure. Mechanically, there's nothing new here but the art is very well drawn.

There's no challenge though. I liked the smartphone journal, quick traveling map, and the time turning watch. The animation and cut scenes are also very well delivered.

It's a solid hidden object adventure for beginners, but old hands will probably find it too easy.

The art style is really nice and the storyline is gripping from the start. It feels fairly intuitive and well designed so far.

While Adam Wolfe is a decent hidden object puzzler, it's not without issues. The section we played felt more like a demo, as it ended abruptly after about 30 minutes.

The puzzles themselves aren't particularly clever, and I simply tapped on random objects on the screen to solve most of them. The hint system refills too, though I can't speak for difficulty levels above medium.

I wish there'd been more to dig into before I was asked to buy the other four episodes to continue.

Still, the voice acting is superb, the story engaging, and the fast travel very convenient. The time travel feature was also very cool - it's just a shame I only experienced a short sample of it.

Overall, Adam Wolfe is just a standard hidden object puzzler with short bursts of excitement. It is not something I could recommend.

I'm into this game. It's pretty, with great graphics. It's dark, gritty, and can be difficult, at times but I look forward to playing the other chapters - I hope they're as engaging as it has been so far!
