A Topsy Turvy Life spins the DSi right round

A couple of upcoming Nintendo DSi releases are looking to turn the console on its head.

Tecmo Koei Europe has announced that it is developing a new series of DSiWare titles with a twist - you'll need to turn your DSi upside down to play them.

The first game, A Topsy Turvy Life: Turvy Drops, is a Tetris-style puzzler. With the touchscreen as the top screen, the idea is to draw blocks that then fall onto the bottom screen and fill the gaps.

Sounds a bit like a version of Tetris where you won't be screaming for a line piece the entire time.

A Topsy Turvy Life: The Turvys Strikes Back is the second title to use this new concept. It's a scrolling shooter from the perspective of an enemy sent to wipe out our beloved Earth. With the touchscreen again held to the sky, you need to send in waves of Imperial Armada forces to do battle.

There are no screenshots yet, but we'll give you all the details as soon as we know them.
