9th Dawn II, sequel to the brill retro-styled RPG, is coming to iOS and Android soon
Classic RPG'ing returns again
Valorware has revealed that 9th Dawn II: Remnants of Caspartia, the sequel to its Silver Award-winning RPG, will be heading to iOS and Android shortly.
It seems that the idea is, once again, to incorporate the sense of adventure of classic RPGs with more modern designs for combat and user friendliness.
We'll be heading back to the world of Vayle too. This time it's in aid of reclaiming the land of Caspartia from the brutality of Dydrinil.
"You stand now at the precipice of a new age, but it is your actions that will decide the fate of mankind, and whether or not the sun will rise once more on shine upon Caspartia," reads the game's description.
9th Dawn II will have cross-platform co-op multiplayer, a larger and more interactive world than the first game, and enhancements to UI design and enemy AI.
It also boasts classless character progression, quests with multiple possible outcomes, a crafting system, and new spells and abilities to play around with.
You can find out more about it on its website. There are no screenshots yet so we can't tell if it looks any better than the first game. But we can hope.
