Zombie Infection preparing to shamble onto iPhone
Monday 10 May is the day of infection
Gameloft’s third-person zombie shooter, Zombie Infection, is set for release onto the App Store next Monday, after a prolonged gestation period.
Zombie Infection puts you in the shoes of military hardman, Anderson as he seeks to rid a Brazilian township of the brain-loving living dead.
During the course of the 12 levels, Anderson must shoot, dodge, snap necks and generally do whatever it takes to survive the hoards of zombies.
Its' a biohazardTo say it looks ever-so-slightly like Resident Evil 5 on the home consoles in both gameplay mechanics (red-laser dot firing) and setting (South America vs Africa) is a bit of an understatement, but we’ll have to see whether it matches the high standard set down by Pocket Gamer silver award-winning Resident Evil 4: Mobile Edition.
No price has been revealed by Gameloft yet, but for more information on the game you can read Tracy’s hands-on from GDC2010, or check out the newly released teaser trailer below.
