Pokemon-style game Zenforms: Protectors will debut on the App Store in March/April

Did you really, really, really wish one of last month's fake Pokemon games on the App Store was the genuine article? Do you still pine for monster-battling goodness on your iPhone? Well, the answer to your prayers may soon be on its way.

Developer Calis Projects is busy working on Zenforms: Protectors, which looks to be shaping up rather nicely judging by the initial batch of screenshots the studio made available.

Little is known about how the Pokemon-style Zenforms: Protectors will actually play out, but based on what we've seen so far, it's probably fair to say that Calis Projects won't stray too far from the Pikachu path.

One thing we do know for sure is that the game won't support the Retina display on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and the new iPad.

Calis Projects is hoping to have Zenforms: Protectors finished, out of the gate, and onto the App Store sometime before May.
