Digital version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D doesn't fit on the New 3DS's standard SD card

Nintendo has revealed that the digital version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will not fit on the standard microSD card that comes with the New Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS XL.

This information is noted at the bottom of the game's listing on the Nintendo.co.uk website. It reads:

"The download version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D does not fit on the microSD card included with New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems: an 8GB or larger microSD card is required to download this game from Nintendo eShop."

So, yes, if you plan on purchasing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D through the 3DS eShop for your New Nintendo 3DS, you'll also need to buy an 8GB microSD, or higher.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is also the only game that requires a New 3DS or New 3DS XL to play. So it's turning out to be quite an expensive game to play.

It'll be out on April 2nd in Europe and Japan. The US gets it on April 10th.
