Wylde Flowers, the cosy farming life simulation Apple Arcade exclusive, brings in some new content with its latest patch

The cosy life and farm simulator Wylde Flowers has introduced its very first content update after launching earlier this year on Apple Arcade. This new update introduces some post-game content alongside new events and the ability to experience further romance with a sweetheart of your choosing!

Wylde Flowers is an interesting little indie, and will likely be right up the alley of fans of the genre. To describe the gameplay, think of titles like Stardew Valley or even Animal Crossing, and you’re not far off. There’s a narrative that involves a previously city-loving protagonist who travels to a distant island to run her grandmother's farm, and along the way, meets tons of lovely locals and gets involved in all sorts of adventures.

As for this new update, it introduces the ability to change the seasons to your liking once you beat the main story, offering up a way to continue growing your farm’s crops as much as you like without having to worry about said crops being in season. This also allows you to experience certain content that is typically locked to certain seasons at any time as well!

Another key feature of this update is the ability to further your relationship with your chosen lover in-game. There are plenty of fish in the sea in Wylde Flowers, and you’re likely to choose one along your journey, but the content that you experience from that relationship was rather surface-level before. Now, there are even more cutscenes and dialogue to share with them!

Finally, this update also introduces lots of new story bits into the game as well as some side stuff that is being kept under wraps, so you’ll have to find it yourself in-game! In the meantime, check out Wylde Flowers for free at the link below as long as you’re an Apple Arcade subscriber.
