Had enough Where's My Water? Of course you haven't. It's one of those games that will keep leaking new levels, and we'll keep wallowing in them like a particularly hygienic alligator.

The latest free update, entitled 10 Days of Frankenducky, contains ten original Halloween-themed stages of water-preserving puzzle action.

In fact, it's more than just Halloween themed. The spooky levels have been inspired by Disney's forthcoming Frankenweenie film. Which makes sense when you consider that Disney is the publisher of Where's My Water?

Frankenweenie is the latest stop motion project from Tim 'Crazy-Haired Goth' Burton. It's a remake of his 1984 short film of the same title, and it's about a boy bringing his dog back to life through the wonders of science. It's an homage to the tale of Frankenstein, albeit a little more light hearted.

Loosely stitched together?

So, just how many elements of this new Tim Burton movie feed into the Where's My Water? universe, eh?

Well, aside from the ghoulish dog itself (which appears in the intro and is pictured below) and a link to the movie trailer, not many, really.

In truth, it's simply a collection of new levels featuring "all-new ducks and a haunting new soundtrack".

In true advent calendar style, you have to unlock one level / day leading up to Halloween. The first one features a strange moving skeleton contraption which you have to navigate past.

Loose tie-in or not, since when were more free levels for an excellent game a bad thing?

Where's My Water? is available now on the App Store for free, though there is also a full 69p / 99c version available with more levels. Hopefully, the Android version will be receiving this update soon, by the way.
