Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower's latest update introduces the Witch Hunter

Today a new update has arrived in Perchang's strategy game Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. It marks the introduction of a brand new character while the developer has also announced a few details about an upcoming expansion that's set to arrive in early 2022.

But we'll start with the new addition to the game's roster, the Witch Hunter. She arrives at the tower on the lookout for evil and corruption, which isn't particularly difficult to come by in the Warhammer world. The Witch Hunter fights with pinpoint accuracy and uses vials of holy water to vanquish daemons into the abyss. She also has a powerful flame to fall back on in a pinch and, most importantly, sports a very cool wide-brimmed hat atop her head.

Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower is now one year old, which means Perchang has deemed it time for a sizeable update. Sometime in 2022, the developer will release the Year 2 expansion. It will introduce additional Quests, Difficulty Modes, new Weekly Challenges, and more Champions to battle through the tower with. There are no specific details just yet, but we'll be sure to update you as and when we learn more.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, it is a turn-based dungeon crawler set in the Age of Sigmar, where you must fight your way through hundreds of tactics using recognisable champions from the franchise. There are a host of different tactics at your disposal because of the large Champion roster. In addition to the Campaign, Silver Tower also has daily quests to tackle that provide numerous rewards if you can overcome the challenge.

Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
