Joining Warhammer 40,000 Lost Crusade is the miraculously strong Emperor’s Champion Avar

The Emperor has sent his blessings to everyone playing Nuverse’s Warhammer 40,000 Lost Crusade. This blessing comes as a miracle, which is going to help his Imperium. And this miracle’s name is Avar.

Avar is the Emperor’s Champion and his most prized possession. He is considered to be a living and breathing miracle who is one of the most powerful warriors to ever be a part of the Imperium. He was first introduced in the Games Workshop held on October 9th.

The Emperor’s Champion descended from a cold and dark space where he bathed in fury, but came out swathed in divine light as a miracle. For the Black Templars who are the most pious and probably even blind followers of the Imperial faith, Avar is the holiest one among them. The reason behind Avar becoming the Champion and no one else from the Black Templars is due to visions.

For reasons unknown, a certain Black Templar, regardless of rank, begins to receive visions from the God-Emperor. And if he wills it, then there really isn’t much you can do. Thus, Avar, a simple man from this religious group received visions from the Lord of Mankind, and ascended to the rank of Emperor’s Champion.

Now of course not everyone would believe it. And hence, a test was put in place. The confirmation was done by the Chapter’s Chaplains. The confirmed champion must then leave his old life and rank behind and embrace his new position with gifts from the Chapel, including the Black Sword which was first used by Sigismund, First Captain of the Imperial Fists. Avar also wears an Armour of Faith and an Iron Halo, which will provide him with further protection.
