Rodeo Games will soon add competitive multiplayer to its brutal tactical battler Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch, in a free update to the game.

Up to four players will be able to pit their Space Marine squad against other Tyranid Invasion players, and duke it out for dominance. You can stick around and watch the battle, or play asynchronously and come back when it's your turn.

To celebrate, Rodeo will slash Deathwatch's price in half like a Tyranid carcass. If it isn't already, the game will be £2.29 / $2.99 until the end of the week.

Deathwatch Invasion

We said "Deathwatch is probably the best of the recent slew of mobile games based on Games Workshop licences" - which is a big compliment, seeing as there are a metric butt load of them.
