Multiplayer strategic boardgame UFHO2 should surface on iPad this week

Tiny Colossus just about raised its funding target on Kickstarter for its turn-based digital boardgame UFHO2 way back in 2012.
Finally, though, Tiny Colossus can reveal that UFHO2 should surface on iPad by the time this week is over.
If you don't remember this one, UFHO2 takes place on a 3D UFO with hexagonal rooms that can rotate. Each player has to make her way towards a gem which, when collected, determines the winner.
It's designed to be played fast, with each turn lasting just 20 seconds. Ideally, then, you'll be planning your next move as your opponent is making hers.
There's a story mode with ten planets and 30 matches to complete. Along the way, there are ten aliens to unlock, each with its own powers.
Familiar faces from Super Crate Box, World of Goo, and Bit.Trip are among the line-up.
There's also an endless local multiplayer mode here in which you can play with up to four players on a single iPad.
UFHO2 came out for PC, Mac, and Linux last week. You can purchase it now from its website.
The iPad version is currently awaiting Apple's approval. We'll let you know as soon as it becomes available.
