Updated on May 27th, at 13:45: Whoops! It looks like the game wasn't supposed to have been launched on the App Store yet and has been pulled. Josh from Crescent Moon says "it's out on June 12!"

Twisty Planets is a cute-looking perspective shifting puzzler that asks you to play around with a blocky planet, tilting it around to let our hero Qub reach previously inaccessible areas.

And it's out right now on iOS, which is nice, because we didn't think it'd be shuffling along in our direction until June.

The game is all about where you're standing. Or more precisely, it's about standing in the right place so when you swipe your finger to shift gravity you don't fall into the yawning abyss of the universe.

There's a rating system based on the number of stars you collect, how many times you manage to wander off the edge of a planet, and how quickly you complete a level. Under a minute is what you're aiming for.

The game isn't the most original idea out there, but it mashes together some lumps of other titles to make something that's easy to enjoy.

The controls are a little on the sticky side sometimes, and a lot of the head-scratching the game induces stems from working out which way you need to swipe the world to progress.

Twisty Planets is out on the App Store right now and it'll set you back £1.99 / $2.99 to give it a go. There's a lot to puzzle through here as well, so it's probably worth that.

An Android version is on the way too, and we'll let you know when it lands on the Google Play Store.
