Toram Online to team up with popular anime Bofuri in new collab

It's one of those oddities of Japanese anime and manga that the MMORPG genre is such a popular subject to cover! Be it trapped in another world (Sword Art Online), just inspired by them (Overlord), or in the case of Bofuri, just being overpowered. And now, in hit cross-platform MMORPG Toram Online, you'll be able to experience new crossover content from the series.
Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense (catchy name, I know) is an anime series that focuses on the player Maple, an MMORPG gamer who doesn't like the idea of getting hurt, so she- well, maxes out her defence. Up until the point that she's effectively invincible.
Joined by her friends, Maple will make an appearance in Toram Online with what looks to be a combination of exclusive costumes and weapons. More details are set to arrive soon, with the collab itself kicking off come May 29th.
While obscure collabs such as this are often confusing from an outside perspective, I've no doubt that if you're a player of Toram Online, you're likely already somewhat knowledgeable about anime and manga to some extent.
With that in mind, while details are yet to arrive, you can expect plenty of new and exciting content to come in this collab. And who knows, if you haven't already, maybe it'll spur you to watch the upcoming second season of Bofuri and find out what this strange anime concept is all about?
