Ubisoft has sprung into action this morning, releasing some information on Tom Clancy's EndWar for DS and PSP and confirming the game will be coming to the handhelds in the US in November.

We first reported on the game with an exclusive back in August when it was revealed Funatics Software was working on a turn-based strategy conversion of the original PS3 and Xbox 360 game.

Tom Clancy's EndWar will allow players to command an elite military force on the ground, in the air and on the seas during World War III. You'll be able to choose from the elite US Joint Strike Force, European Enforcers Corps and Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade, then lead your faction (hopefully) to victory in three single-player campaigns.

Each campaign includes over thirty different battle scenarios taking place in real-world places such as Paris and London, and incorporates various missions and objectives.

Outside of the single-player mode, there'll also be two-player battles that can be played in any of the game's 100 scenarios, or in your own custom-created missions.

Meanwhile, each faction will include over 20 different units and vehicles and these units will gain experience in battle, improving their combat performance the more they fight.

America will be getting the portable, turn-based Tom Clancy experience next month but, as yet, there's no word on when it will come to Europe. We'd expect it to follow pretty shortly though - click 'Track It!' to find out exactly when as soon as we do.
