More iPhone Tiger Woods PGA Tour details revealed
EA takes another swing on Facebook
We like to give EA a good poke every now and then, what with it favouring Facebook for its game announcements these days (it's even been chatting up Pocket Gamer on its own page).
We heard about its iPhone iteration of the prolific Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf game franchise a few weeks ago, and a couple more screenshots have just been posted on Facebook, along with a couple of extra gameplay details.
Apparently Tiger Woods PGA Tour will feature a voice-over commentary from Sam Torrance and Kelly Tilghman, realistic 3D courses and a ‘touch-n-drag’ control system.
The new screenshots give a pretty good idea of how Tiger’s golf swings will work, and you’ll also be able to put some spin on the ball by swiping your finger across the screen.
And if stepping into Tiger’s spiky shoes isn’t especially appealing, you’ll have the option of going up against him in the role of golfers such as Annika Sorenstam, Vijay Singh and Retief Goosen.
MacLife had a closer look at Tiger Woods PGA Tour recently, and reports that multiplayer will be available as a pass-to-play system on a single device, though EA is still undecided as to any online or wifi multiplayer options.
