1
War Strategy mixed with in-depth RPG mechanics

Whereas most MMORPGs you might find on the app or Google Play stores will either lean heavily into strategy or RPG, The War of Genesis is unique in that it prioritises both. It does this by challenging players to collect heroes and travel through unique stories, all while slowly educating you how to strategically upgrade your ships and hero decks to ultimately defeat your enemies and survive in Antaria. It’s a healthy mix that’s been designed teach, never intimidate.

2
Customisable hero decks

Your journey throughout Antaria will see you come across various heroes, each classified by a specific element type. There’s your basics like grass and fire, all through to more off-kilter elements like wind, which could prove advantageous in battle. The War of Genesis takes this collectible aspect much further than most RPGs, letting you recruit any enemy you see in addition to traditional heroes. This means you can make a team consisting of both humans and monsters!

3
PVE and PVP play style options

Whether you’re someone who prefers taking the fight towards others online or working alongside them, The War of Genesis provides you with both PVE and PVP options. Any battle you enter into takes place in real-time because of this, utilizing your airship, heroes, and monster companions all at once. There are myriad missions and achievements to undertake either way, so you’ll never be left wanting for something to do.

4
A persistent world where you’ll always be challenged

Your main goal in The War of Genesis is to restore peace to Antaria by fighting for the control of territories. While the in-game story itself does indeed have a finite ending, credits, and conclusion, the world itself differs in that it’s persistent. Here is where you’re encouraged to join a guild and establish a permanent base of operations, where you can soar to the sky, drop anchor, and challenge yourself to obtain as many territories as time will permit.

5
Community walkthroughs ideal for tackling tough bosses

The War of Genesis features a glut of end-game bosses to run through, each suited to players seeking the ultimate challenge. For a fighting chance, however, there’s an in-game walkthrough feature where players can share techniques and strategies with each other to stand the best chance of winning. Do you have a great gear set that goes well with Ogre’s abilities? You’ll never have to wrestle to find out thanks to the emphasis on community.

The War of Genesis is available to download worldwide right now on iOS and Android.
