Take off your Sims' shoes in The Sims FreePlay on April 10th to support annual One Day Without Shoes event

In support of TOMS's annual One Day Without Shoes event, which aims to raise awareness about the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life, Electronic Arts will allow all The Sims FreePlay players to remove their Sims' shoes for just one day.

In fact, the publisher is encouraging it. If you do decide to remove your characters' sneakers on April 10th, you'll be rewarded with a free virtual pair of TOMS shoes. Simply keep your eyes peeled for a special in-game message if you wish to take part.

Your virtual shoes will be made available in the game's Create-A-Sim area around 24 hours after the event finishes.

Furthermore, you can head on over to the One Day Without Shoes website and pledge - alongside EA - to go barefoot virtually in The Sims FreePlay on April 10th. Just enter "Electronic Arts Inc." and your email address in the boxes on the right.
