Everything is awesome: The Lego Movie is now an iOS game

Oh hey, a mobile-friendly remake of The Lego Movie Video Game has just hit the App Store.

Like the brick flick, the game follows the events of the movie and has Emmet and his pals travel across the Lego universe, beating up President Business's goons and building stuff out of piles of plastic.

You get to control some 90 different characters, including Batman, Superman, the Green Ninja, Gandalf, and 80s spaceman mini figure Benny. You'll unlock them as you play, or you can get 'em early with in-app purchases.

This isn't a straight port of the console game from last year. Instead, it's made to be more playable on a touchscreen with gesture-driven controls, a towering top down view, and less enemies on screen.

There are also classic controls, and it works with MFi pads too.

The Lego Movie Video Game costs £3.99 / $4.99 and needs a whopping 1.1 GB of space on your device to hold all the HD clips of the film. You'll need an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 or better to play. Buy it here.
