The Banner Saga 3 gets fully funded on Kickstarter with over a month to spare

Not long ago, Stoic launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed for The Banner Saga 3. Unsurprisingly, the entire $200,000 was reached in under a week, with over a month to spare.

Following on from the first two games, The Banner Saga 3 promises to be more cinematic as our decisions in the first two games continue to alter the outcomes of the third.

True to form, Stoic continue to rule in their 'you can't take anything for granted' gaming moto, giving the RPG form a bit of a twist. Rather than grinding through fight after fight, your decisions are what really matter throughout the game.

"We're thrilled to have funded the Kickstarter in less than a week. Once again it's down to the amazing support of the community, and we truly appreciate every backer that has helped us reach our funding goal", said John Watson, co-founder and Technical Director at Stoic. "This is huge for us and have now revealed the first stretch goal! A big thanks again to all of our supporters for helping us get this far."

I don't know about you guys but I'll have to pull out every ounce of my patience to wait for its release, potentially in 2018.
