This week we're really focusing down on the excellent Teslagrad. It's set to come out for iOS and Android this Thursday, November 8th. So we thought we'd make sure that you're up to speed with everything about the game before it lands.

If you've got your own questions then feel free to ask them in the comments section down at the bottom of the article.

What is Teslagrad?

It's a side-scrolling platformer. The focus here isn't on inch-perfect jumps and complex button presses though, instead at its heart Teslagrad is a puzzler. You need to use your character's electrical powers in order to get from A to B.

There's obviously more to the game than that, and there are some trickier jumping sections, but Teslagrad is going to test your brain as much as it's going to test the speed of your fingers. If you ask us, that makes it the perfect game for a mobile port.

And the game is a port. It's been out on a variety of other platforms since 2013, where it received pretty impressive review scores. A quick look at Metacritic shows that every version of the game scored somewhere close to an eight out of ten - that's a pretty impressive statistic nowadays.

How much is Teslagrad going to cost?

The game will set you back £4.99 / $4.99 when it lands on the App Store. We expect its Google Play Store price to be somewhere closer to £4.49 though, as is the way with the Google Play Store.

You can click here to pre-order the game for your iOS device. That way you'll get a notification on your phone or tablet when it's ready to download. Or, if you're a gamer of the Android persuasion, you can click here to pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store.

Will Teslagrad have IAPs?

The game's page on the App Store is pretty clear about this one. Teslagrad will be a pay once, play forever experience. There are no in-app purchases, and there are no adverts to watch to speed things up or get extra currency. This is the same game that's been out everywhere else, just in the palm of your hand.

Will Teslagrad be playable with MFi controllers?

It will be. So if you've got an MFi controller for your iPhone or iPad, you'll be able to play the game with all the buttons you desire. That said, the game has been redesigned to work better on mobile, so if you're worried you're going to have to have a controller to get the most out of it, that's probably not going to be the case.

Is there anything else I should know about Teslagrad?

You'll need an iOS device running iOS 10 at least to play it. The game's page on the App Store isn't super clear about which devices it'll actually run on though, so if you're unsure it might be worth buying it once it's actually come out and that info is available.

Other than that, we think that's everything covered. Like we said at the top of the article, if you've got any questions then please let us know in the comments section. And make sure you come back tomorrow when we'll have even more awesome Teslagrad content.
