I swear, I'm shocked to see Thursday come around so quickly each week and I'll no doubt be shocked to see if for many months more. But, here we are on new game day, ready to check out what titles have burst from mobile's metaphorical womb and into the world.

Er, okay, that got a bit weird, but you know where I'm going with this.

From sports management sims to daft little adventure games, there's a great variety of mobile titles to dig into just in time for the weekend. Let's take a look.

1
BimbleBorn

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £1.99/$1.99

If you're looking for a new 3D adventure game to satiate those Oceanhorn-style cravings, BimbleBorn might be something to invest in. Explore a pretty, little world as adventures await you left and right.
This may be a game about completing quests, but there's no need to rush. In fact, embracing the act of bimbling is half the battle, so chill out and see what you'll stumble across.

2
Bloop Go

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: F2P

Race against random opponents and earn your bragging rights in this adorable physics-based racing game.
You've got dozens of powers to unlock, 30+ characters to play around with (each with their own skills), five worlds, and use different methods to wipe out the competition.

3
Creative Destruction

Creative Destruction mixes sandbox and battle royale gameplay together and tops is all off with a Fortnite-style cartoon art style.
You can use an assortment of weaponry, break and build structures, and flee an oncoming snowstorm as you battle to the death. No, it's not an original idea, but it might be fun to play if you're sick of Fortnite already.

4
Hags Castle

This 3D action game looks pretty neat in a classic fantasy adventure kind-of way.
Set in the age of Scottish myth and legends, you have to explore an old castle - from its dark dungeons and wine cellars through to its magnificent gardens - to defeat the witchcraft of Madam Hag.

5
KleptoDogs

From the marvelous makers of KleptoCats comes a game made especially for dog lovers.
Unlock all sorts of dog breeds, some more unusual than others, dress them up to look even more adorable, and watch them fill the room with all sorts of random things. Such good puppers.

Motorsport Manager 3

If you're after a sports management game to get into, this one's definitely something you should invest in.
We certainly liked it, saying: "Motorsport Manager Mobile 3 isn't going to be to everyone's taste, but if you've an overwhelming desire to be the power behind the racing seat, you should get this downloaded as soon as possible."

7
Nishan Shaman

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: F2P

Made by a group of six university students, Nishan Shaman is a tradition story passed down through tribes of Northeastern China for thousands of years.
By controlling Nishan, a female shaman, you'll head off on an adventure to save a young boy's soul through different realms. This story-driven rhythm game certainly looks striking, and I really hope it's got the substance to match.

8
Rowdy Wrestling

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: F2P

Colin Lane's back at it again and bringing us yet another quickfire game to get engrossed in.
Smack your opponents about, kick them, throw them, smash them with chairs, and more to get them out of the ring. The last wrestler standing is the ultimate winner, so get your spangly pants on and get fighting.

9
Teen Titans Go Figure!

Combining the adorable 3D figures, battle system, and shopping simulation of the original with a brand-new adventure, Teen Titans Go Figure! is a figure-collecting battler featuring characters from all over the DC universe.
From Wonder Woman and Black Lightning through to Martian Manhunter and Rainbow Raider, you've got almost 100 Superheroes and Villains to collect and customise.
