Bring colour to a depressed land in challenging iOS puzzler Rainbow on January 15th
Colour me delighted
Looking at the drizzle outside today, we could do with Rainbow's Devious Deb visiting our British shores to brighten it up with his boat-mounted rainbow ray.
Rainbow has you guiding a rainbow with your finger to bring colour back to a depressed people on a miserable black-and-white land, you see.
Devious Deb turns up at the beginning of the game and shoots the rainbows into the sky for you to guide. Unfortunately, the sad denizens have decided to hide in their houses, scared of the change.
This means you'll have to worm the rainbow through narrow corridors, around bends, and through weird materials to get to them.
Unfortunately, every time the individual colour strands of the rainbow hit a solid object, it will stop in its track. However, as long as you have one strand you can still guide it to the people.
Each level is completed by making every person on the screen light up with a colour of the rainbow. There are also stars to collect for an extra challenge.
Rainbow is a fun action puzzler with simple controls and a quirky concept. It will be coming to the App Store on January 15th and will cost £1.49 / $1.99. An Android version is expected in Spring 2014.
