Out at midnight: Talisman: Digital Edition is a comprehensive iPad-only version of the classic Games Workshop boardgame

Talisman: Digital Edition has just rolled a 6 and wandered onto the New Zealand App Store square of the board. That means, luck willing, it should have made its way to the UK by midnight tonight.

To all intents and purposes the game is the revised 4th edition of the Games Workshop classic stuffed into an app-sized container with some single player stuff layered on top.

Unlike Talisman: Prologue, which suffered from a lack of multiplayer options, this second bite of the cherry is full to the brim with them.

Pass-and-play and online games are supported, and there's a variety of different modes for you to tackle together as well. You can even add house rules and play Bloodbath, which lets you batter your friends to death.

The game should be out later tonight and, unless it gets turned into a toad, it'll set you back £3.99 / $5.99 when it arrives.
