There's something fishy about this puzzler

The flood of mobile sudoku games has died down a bit in recent months, probably because mobile developers are all busy working on their brain-training clones.

However, Twistbox Games hasn't given up on sudoku, blending the famous Japanese number-puzzle with manga girls in short skirts to create Sushi Sudoku – which it says is the most stylish sudoku mobile game around.

It's the second in Twistbox's new Sushi series of casual games, see, and it's tried to make the game more colourful than your average sudoku puzzler.

It's also mixed up the action, with some grids deviating from the traditional 9x9 format.

Other than that, the title offers a choice between Quick Game and Prison modes, although it's not clear yet what the latter entails. Possibly big manga gangsters in short skirts. Or not.

Anyway, Sushi Sudoku is out soon.
