The sports genre on mobile is a wonderful and oftentimes wacky place. It's where serious simulation coexists with over-the-top arcade action, and today's subject is no exception. Mechanically speaking, Super Flappy Golf is super simple. You play as one many-winged golfballs trying to bounce your way around a complex course. You tap to flap and use that to navigate around. The twist, of course, being that, just like with real golf, the fewer flaps, the higher you score.
With its eclectic mix of cartoon visuals and surprisingly tactical gameplay, Super Flappy Golf may be a little juvenile, but it promises to offer plenty of challenge (and fun) for players both old and new alike. And as the continuation of Noodlecake's hit series, it also brings some new mechanics to the fore, such as gliding and diving!
It's ironic to think that, more than a decade ago now, the flappy mechanic was what sparked a sudden and bizarre surge in interest. With over 30 different courses, eight-person multiplayer and dozens of eggs to hatch into new balls, Super Flappy Golf is certainly shaping up to be a worthy addition to this series.
