SumiKen is an upcoming samurai slasher which uses a Japanese ink-like art style

SumiKen is an endless samurai slasher, coming to mobile later this year.

This may be a tad preemptive of me but SumiKen seems like it could be an interesting game, so long as its gameplay is as intriguing as its visual style. Using a Japanese ink-like design, the game appears to be quite simple.

Though we really don't know anything about its gameplay just yet, the developer states that they've taken influence from Okami (2006/7) for the art, and from Akira Kurosawa for the action, particularly Seven Samurai (1954).

So far, SumiKen is slated to release on iOS and Android in May 2017, but hopefully we'll get some idea of its gameplay long before then.
