PC strategy MMO Stronghold Kingdoms is heading to iOS with cross-platform play

Firefly Studios has revealed that it will be bringing its strategy MMO Stronghold Kingdoms to iOS "without any concessions."
The game has previously only been available on PC but the studio is looking to expand the existing player base by bringing it to new platforms.
To this end, the iOS version will support cross-platform play with the Windows and Mac versions of the game. It will also have touch controls and a redesigned user interface.
Stronghold Kingdoms has you participating in a massive persistent world where it's possible to dominate entire countries if you want (and can).
"Working as part of a Faction or House, each feudal Lord must expand their empire and specialise as a farmer, trader, diplomat or warlord using the in-game tech tree," Firely explains.
"Each player castle can be sieged in real time and every village raided for supplies, as players reach for the throne and domination of Europe."
No release window for the iOS version of Stronghold Kingdoms has been given yet. We'll let you know when we hear more.
