Casual iPhone charmer Storm in a Teacup gets new levels, mode in update

Crockery-based platformer Storm in a Teacup managed to bag itself a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award last month. Those of you who took the plunge can now enjoy some extra levels, a new mode, and other customisation options for free.

Dundee-based CobraMobile has served up ten new bonus levels, which unlock once you reach level 20. The update also adds a Challenge mode.

In addition, you can now customise your characters, changing hairstyles, clothes, teacups, and so on.

Storm in a Teacup is an artsy casual game in which you have to make your way through a series of stages in a floaty cup collecting sugarlumps.

We wrote in our review: “It may not be everyone’s cup of char, but given time to infuse Storm in a Teacup proves to be a tasty blend of classic ingredients.”
