Win a set of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed goodies

Guess what week it is.

It's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed week.

We've already reviewed the DS and PSP versions, and iPhone and mobile reviews are imminent. There's even an N-gage port en route to make up the quintet. It's like some wild Star Wars dream.

To celebrate, two kind benefactors have generously provided us with things to give away as prizes. The people at Titan Publishing have donated copies of the Force Unleashed graphic novel and the hardback novelisation, while THQ Wireless's incomparable staff has ponied up copies of the mobile game, Star Wars-related ringtones, and a set of trading cards from the 1977 film.

Of course, we'd be insane to bestow this entire bounty upon just one reader. Therefore, only the best entrant will win the full swag bag. Eight runners-up will each win the game, a ringtone, and either the novelisation or the graphic novel.

Let's get down to the business of giving them away.

Naturally, we can't just ask you a question about the films. Information's far too easy to come by these days, so we've decided to set a challenge based on a game that was invented, to the best of our knowledge, by nerds. It's called The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.

The premise is this: I name two actors, and you have to link them by way of the films they've performed in alongside other actors. For iinstance, if I said, "Rosie O'Donnell and Minnie Driver," you might respond with something like, "Rosie was in About Schmidt with Jack Nicholson, who was in The Departed with Matt Damon, who was in Good Will Hunting with Minnie. Done. Easy."

As my example suggests, even though the game's called Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon you shouldn't feel constrained by either of the conditions specified in its title. You don't need to mention Kevin, and you can get the answer in as many degrees as you like.

For which reason our version of the game is called The Star Wars Degrees of Star Wars. Below are three pairs of names, and you have to link the two names in each pair using the method described above.

To make it more difficult, you're not allowed to use any Star Wars film in the answer, and the person who gets it in the fewest stages wins. In the case of a tie, points will be awarded to the most interesting answers: that is, citing Tobey Maguire in This Boy's Life will impress us more than citing Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic. If the link is interesting enough, we'll even consider awarding bonus points in order to put the submitter ahead of more concise rivals.

TV programmes are out, but you can use animated films.

Answer in this format: Rosie O'Donnell, Jack Nicholson, About Schmidt. Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, The Departed. Etc.

Here are the names. Get linking.
