Keen for the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire? You can download it on your Nintendo Switch now
You just can't play it yet
If you've got a Switch, congratulations, you're one of the 1.5 million enthusiasts that this applies to. As you might remember, Splatoon 2 was scheduled to host a Global Testfire in March and lucky you, you can start downloading it now.
You just can't play it for another couple of weeks.
Splatoon 2 is the massively-anticipated sequel to Splatoon, coming to the Switch later this year. Aside from having a selection of aesthetically re-vamped weapons, we've got more to look forward to this time around. You'll only get to play with four weapons, but that includes the new Splat Dualies.
Once the event rolls around there will be six hour-long sessions (that's hour, not six-hour) running between the 24th and the 26th of March. Check out my previous article here for the times.
If you're super duper keen, and if you've made yourself a foreign Nintendo account, you can head over to the Japanese Nintendo eShop and download access...and then wait until the 24th until the event goes live. Hurrah!
