E3 2012: Deadmau5 coming to PS Vita on August 7th in rhythm-based title Sound Shapes

Last month, we briefly told you about Sound Shapes - an upcoming PS Vita title that will contain a bunch of "thematically connected & musically-linked" levels created by Superbrothers and Jim Guthrie.

We couldn't give you a release date back then, but we now know that this rhythm-based Vita title will be available to download from the PSN Store on August 7th. You'll be able to nab both the PS Vita and PS3 versions of this title for just $15.

Thanks to cross-play functionality, you'll be able to create your very own game in the console version of this forthcoming title and show it off to your friends in the portable version.

Fear not, though: if you don't fancy producing your own masterpieces, you can take advantage of tunes from the likes of Deadmau5.
