After Eric Idle so kindly lent his vocal talent to last Sunday's Closing Ceremony for the 2012 Olympics Games, his fellow Python John Cleese has decided to get in on the act, too. Kind of.

In a post on the EU PlayStation Blog, Smart As producer XDev Europe has confirmed that the legendary British comedian will narrate its forthcoming brain training game for Vita.

This won't be the first time Cleese has done some voice work for a video game, mind. In the past, the Fawlty Towers star has voiced characters in big-name titles such as Fable 3, Jade Empire, and several James Bond tie-ins.

Smart As is reminiscent of Dr Kawashima's Brain Training series back on the Nintendo DS, and with John Cleese on board it will no doubt be laced with some of that British humour we all know and love.

Look out for the game on Vita this autumn. In the meantime, check out our hands-on with Smart As here.
