Shantae and the Pirate's Curse hits the 3DS eShop on October 23

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, the third entry in the highly regarded series of action platformers will officially be hitting the 3DS eShop on October 23.
Developers WayForward carved a place in gamers' hearts in recent years with visually appealing and thumb-pleasing games like Mighty Switch Force!
Announced almost two years ago, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse was meant to come out late last year but was mysteriously held back.
The original Shantae suffered similar problems. The Game Boy Color game was held back so long by publishers Capcom that it actually came out a year after the Game Boy Advance's hit shelves worldwide.
We can't wait to get our hands on this entry. If you need a fix till then, we thoroughly recommend the original Shantae on the 3DS (Virtual Console) and Shantae: Risky's Revenge on both 3DS (DSiWare) and iOS.
