[Update] Out at midnight: Scuba Diver Adventures lets you explore the depths (for a price)

And now for something completely different. At midnight tonight, Chillingo will launch handsome underwater diving game Scuba Diver Adventures: Beyond the Depths on iPhone and iPad.

You play as adventurous diving lass Nicole, who's on the verge of uncovering some sunken treasure with her pal Eddie. Along the way they'll be exploring hidden ruins, feeding fish, and taking photo of manta rays.

The bad news is that the game is drowning (see what I did there?) in in-app purchases, with a stingy energy system, a pair of currencies, and constant offers to buy better kit and one-off cheats.
