Last week we told you the king of powersliding was heading back to PSP.

Alas, our spy shots were subsequently lost in the Ethernet, meaning we were forced to illustrate our announcement with a screen of the original PSP Ridge Racer.

Now, don't have an oil spill or anything but we've managed to get our driving gloved hands on ten shots of the actual sequel to keep you going until our next update.

You'll no doubt note the sweeping, banked corners, the air time and drifting overload, which effectively means this is no major departure from the last game. Then again, only the slow kids at the back would have expected anything different.

Still, three times the content of the original game is promised, including some new modes to be unveiled a little further down the track.

We'll be chasing more details on the new additions before the game's UK release, which should closely follow the Japanese version this September.
