The game's storyline revolves around Mina, who inadvertently becomes stranded during a solo around-the-world sailing expedition.
Return to Mysterious Island gives you licence to explore locations from the original work by Jules Verne.
It combines photorealistic pre-rendered graphics with numerous puzzles to solve. Inventory items can be combined in various ways, for which a scoring system rewards your creativity.
Pocket Gamer gave the iPhone version of Return to Mysterious Island an impressive Silver Award.
There's no indication when Return to Mysterious Island will be returning to its original price.
