Reckless Racing, an original top-down racer from developer Pixelbite Games, is coming to iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad by way of EA Mobile.

The game, which is being published by EA, features old-school top-down action with six different vehicles.

Three modes - Dirt Rally, Hot Lap, and Delivery - are promised, in addition to local wi-fi and online multiplayer. Leaderboards and downloadable ghost cars will be offered too. No mention of Bluetooth support.

As you can see from the iPad screenshots, Reckless Racing is quite the looker. While it's decent-looking on iPhone, it's downright impressive on iPad.

EA Mobile doesn't mention support for iPhone 4 and its Retina display, though the luscious iPad screens make it an attractive prospect.

Reckless Racing will be available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad later this summer at an undisclosed price.
