Modern art racer Proun+ to make its big screen debut on Apple TV
Make 'em dizzy
Engine Software has announced that Proun+ will be one of the first games available on Apple TV when it comes out next month.
It'll be the game's big screen debut since it was released for 3DS and iOS last year.
We reviewed it, of course, and gave it a Gold Award saying that it takes "the best elements of two genres and squish them together into a cohesive whole."
Those two genres? Twitchy arcade dodger and racing game. The idea is to steer a blob across a tube at breakneck speed to beat the other blobs.
However, along the tube track are several large pieces of geometry (modern art, apparently) to avoid. You need to curl to the left and right to avoid them. And it ain't easy.
But don't fret, it has five different speeds, ranging from Relaxed to Speed of Light - so you can tweak its challenge.
Plus, there's a great jazzy soundtrack to enjoy. It should sound great bouncing around the living room.
The Apple TV version won't betray the original game. Engine Software says that it will only be "in better quality like no one has ever experienced before."
