Princess Connect! Re: Dive is celebrating Christmas early with a new holiday-themed story arc titled The Carol That Never Was. It will feature Christmas themed characters and events and lots more. Crunchyroll has quite a packed winter for the game’s fans so it is no wonder they are kicking off the festivities early.

First up, we have a brand-new Focus Gacha, which is the only event featuring the holiday themed Chika. Chika (Holiday) is a powerful and skilled support character that is spreading Christmas energy through buffs and TP regeneration. Her Unique Burst summons three unique holiday spirits making Chika well set to go fight it out on the battlefield while also singing Christmas carols in the streets of Landosol.

Here’s a little catch for those of you who wish to spend the winter season with Chika (Holiday). She is a limited character, meaning her addition is restricted to the Focus Gacha. She will not be added to the normal Premium Gacha Pool once the yuletide event ends. The Gacha will be available between November 22nd and December 7th.

Coming to The Carol That Never Was, Landosol is covered in snow and Ayane and Kurumi have been preparing for the biggest holiday party until they find Chika unconscious on the ground. To add to that, she also has some sort of amnesia and cannot remember herself.

The event will feature exclusive boss battles for whom you need Boss Tickets to get a shot to fight. These can be earned by login bonuses and clearing stages. And for defeating any boss 5 times you’ll be awarded a free Kurumi (holiday) unit. Completing Event Quests will also give 1.5x exp besides all the other rewards.

Another Gacha is the Victory Medal Gacha which offers a buttload of goodies for earning Victory Medals. The winter also brings with the Dungeon Double Drop Campaign and Grotto Quest Double Drop Campaign. Enjoy the early winter on Princess Connect!
