Pokémon Sleep to celebrate its second anniversary with the debut of some fan-favourites
  • Pokémon Sleep is set to celebrate its second anniversary in style
  • A prelude event sees Paldean starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly make an appearance
  • Meanwhile, Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip are set to return for the anniversary!

It seems like only yesterday that Pokémon Sleep first launched, and took the world by utter shock. I mean, a sleep app for Pokémon? It's not exactly a series known for making you feel relaxed after all. But two years on, Pokémon Sleep is still going strong, and is set to celebrate its second anniversary with the debut of a fan-favourite Pokémon!

But first, for those not in the know, what exactly is Pokémon Sleep? Well, put simply, it's a sleep tracking app that allows you to slowly collect Pokémon as you research their sleep styles. Get a better night's sleep and gather more Pokémon, all while taking care of your own Snorlax, a Pokémon well-known for napping.

The second anniversary of this smash hit is set to kick off on July 7th and will run until the 14th. In it, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly will make more frequent appearances during sleep research, and fans can also benefit from a variety of bonuses too!

It's a snooze-fest! (In a good way)

Finally, we get to the Second Anniversary Fest itself, taking place from the 14th to the 28th. There's even more bonuses to enjoy, and those of you who feel galled at all the funny new Pokémon past a certain point in the series can instead thrill at the arrival of none other than Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip! The third-generation starters will make an appearance in Pokémon Sleep for the first time as part of this event.

Yes, while Pokémon Sleep may be asking you to nap, it's anything but a snoozefest.

While Pokémon Sleep helps you get your circadian rhythm back in order, why not try out something else to pass the time before bed? Kingdomino offers quick, competitive puzzle matches between players that let you test out your skill in creating your own kingdom!
