During the last Nintendo Direct web broadcast, the Japanese manufacturer announced two all-new 3DS Pokemon games to complement the launch of new DS adventures Pokemon Black/White 2.

The first of these titles, Pokemon Dream Radar, lets you use your 3DS's features to discover common and rare Pokemon, which you can catch by shooting them with special beams. The critters you catch inside this title, which will be available to purchase from the eShop this autumn, can be transferred into the upcoming Black/White 2 titles.

The second of these titles, Pokedex 3D Pro, is an interactive Pokedex that contains information on more than 600 different Pokemon from the animated franchise, and includes an augmented reality feature that allows you to snap shots of your creatures in real-world surroundings.

Unlike the pre-existing Pokedex 3DS application, all Pokemon will be unlocked from the off, meaning you can use it to check out detailed information on abilities, evolution, and more.

Pokedex 3D Pro will also be available from the 3DS's eShop.
