New York-based studio Cresent Moon Games is bringing its iPad hit Pocket RPG to the iPhone this Thursday and a temporarily reduced price.

You'll have to battle through eight fantasy stages as one of three character classes. The levels themselves are randomly generated, as is the loot that you’ll be pilfering from the corpses of the vanquished.

Pocket RPG earned itself a respectable Pocket Gamer Bronze Award at review.

The iPhone version will cost 69p/99c at launch, though that price will rise to £1.99/£2.99. The iPad version, meanwhile, will be resubmitted as a Universal app.
