It feels like it's been a hot minute since we last tucked into a Plague Inc. update, but this one's certainly going to be interesting. We don't know specific dates for it just yet, but we'll keep a close eye out.

To celebrate winning The Queen's Enterprise Award for Innovation, Plague Inc.'s next update is going to be rather royal, featuring two new scenarios and a couple of other bits.

Firstly, the interface will be redesigned and modernised for maximum experience. On its official blog post, it says the UI's going to look so good you'll want to lick your phone - but, please don't lick it. Cuddle it and let it know you love it, but no licking.

As for the scenarios, one is the Ultimate Board Games scenario where you'll make a world-dominating board game. There's no disease involved, only the deadly spread of success as you try to keep you investors happy and make your game better selling than Monopoly.

There's also the Science Denial scenario where people around the globe have totally stopped believing in science. One country still wants the scientists to thrive and save the world from its own stupidity, but you'll need to put a stop to that or - erm - survive trying.

If you've got an iOS device and fancy helping out with Mutation 16's beta testing, you can apply right here.
