Excalisoft's Pilot Perils soft-launches in Australia and New Zealand
Soft in many ways-
It was announced today that Pilot Perils has soft-launched in Australia and New Zealand App Store and it's free to play.
You play as Jack, a mechanic in a steampunk world, as he rushes to retrieve his stolen invention. Only one catch here for some added pressure – this invention can save the world of Alvor.
Side-scrolling/action games can blend together after a while, but this Oz-island-based adventure title by Excalisoft blends gorgeous visuals and physics-based challenges together to make something that stands out.
With 15 levels, and more coming according to the trailer, it's quite a small game in comparison to a lot of titles out there already. Hopefully we'll see a few more by the time the game launches worldwide sometime later this year.
If you'd like to give the game a go, all you need to do is make a New Zealand iTunes account which you can find out how to do here. Other than that, we'll keep you updated as things progress.
