The Epic Games Store is continuing its rather jam-packed series of giveaways with its latest freebie. Pilgrims, which you may remember us covering before, is now free to claim and keep on the Epic Games Store for mobile! In this puzzle-based adventure, every journey is different, but just as quirky.

As you might expect from the name, Pilgrims is set at some vague point in time. You play the titular Pilgrim journeying through the land, encountering all manner of obstacles and characters (usually one and the same) along the way. It's up to you to keep the journey going and expand your party of travellers.

How do you do this? With a simple card-based interface where you select different items and characters you've accrued or recruited to solve puzzles. Each of which has multiple ways to solve it, offering a chance to think creatively and not be locked into binary solutions.

Pilgrims earned a very respectable silver rating from us here at Pocket Gamer. And for good reason. It encourages ingenious solutions and discovering all manner of unexpected interactions with its 45 achievements to uncover, many of which you won't discover in a single playthrough.
