Amazon’s current pick for the free app of the day feature is the geometrically minded Pewpew 2, the sequel to the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning Pewpew, would you believe?
The new title, released only a few weeks ago, hasn’t suddenly switched genres - it’s still the same classy Geometry Wars styled twin-stick shooter as before.
Only this time there are seven game modes, a campaign, five different ship types, and reactive music while playing the game, for that extra-layer of trippiness and 'connection'.
The normal asking price for the title on the Amazon Appstore is $2.99, slightly more than the $2.82 converted price currently on offer on the Android Market, but now it’s free that shouldn’t matter. At least, until tomorrow.
