Panzer Corps, the popular war strategy game, gets a free-to-play 'Lite' version

For the first time since its release a few years ago Slitherine has given the rather pricey Panzer Corps an alternative with Panzer Corps Lite - a free snippet of the game.

Panzer Corps is an award-winning turn-based strategy game which we actually gave our prestigious Silver award to back in the day. Set in World War II, Panzer Corps Lite gives you a taster of the full game. You can work through the tutorial, the first Wehrmacht mission 'Poland', and the first few turns of Norway before having to start investing.

This version of the game is for those who might be a tad intimidated to purchase the full thing, from either the size of it or the pricing of it - it sits in at £14.99/$19.99 so it's an investment for sure.

Once you're finished with the taster you can either buy your choice of the (so far) 18 DLCs, or you can go on to buy the full game as an IAP.
